Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haziah Abdul Hamid is a senior academic at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering & Technology, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), specialising in high voltage engineering and power system transients. She holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Cardiff University, UK, and has over two decades of academic and research experience, particularly in grounding systems and insulation coordination.
Her research focuses on insulation performance, switching transients modelling, and the impulse behaviour of earthing systems. She has been actively involved in multiple national research grants, including FRGS and industry-linked projects, and has published extensively in reputable journals and conferences, contributing to advancements in power system reliability and protection.
Beyond research, she has held key leadership roles, including Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering & Technology and Deputy Dean at UniMAP, demonstrating strong academic governance and leadership. She also serves as a grant evaluator, external examiner, and auditor at the national level, reflecting her expertise and professional recognition.
In addition, she has made significant contributions in mentoring postgraduate students in high voltage and power system research, supporting the development of future researchers and engineers in the field.

Associate Professor Ir. Ts. Dr. Mohamad Nur Khairul Hafizi bin Rohani is a distinguished scholar and professional engineer at Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), Malaysia, where he serves as Associate Professor in High Voltage Engineering and Director of the Centre for Alumni Relations. A registered Professional Engineer (BEM) and Professional Technologist (MBOT), he is internationally recognized for his expertise in partial discharge diagnostics, condition monitoring of high-voltage assets, and artificial intelligence–driven signal and image analysis. Dr. Hafizi has secured and led 35 competitive research grants totalling nearly RM3 million, and has authored over 100 scientific publications, including more than 60 indexed in SCOPUS and Web of Science, with an H-index of 18. He actively supervises doctoral researchers, serves as an External Examiner at leading universities, and is an Executive Committee member of the IEEE Dielectrics & Electrical Insulation Society (DEIS) Malaysia Chapter, as well as Secretary of the Malaysia High Voltage Network (MyHVNet). In recognition of his outstanding contributions and achievements, he was also the recipient of the main award at the Anugerah Seri Gemilang 2025 UniMAP, namely the Anugerah Tokoh Muda Kejuruteraan.

Ir. Ts. Dr. Erdy Sulino Bin Mohd Muslim Tan is a Professional Engineer and Technologist with extensive expertise in artificial intelligence, mechatronics engineering, robotics, and smart agriculture systems. He is currently affiliated with Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), where he actively contributes to research, innovation, and academic development in engineering and technology.
Dr. Erdy has led and contributed to numerous national and international research grants, including projects on soil nutrient monitoring, agricultural robotics, environmental sustainability, and industrial automation. He is the main researcher behind the innovative HABAQQQ NPK system, a smart solution for real-time soil nutrient measurement and optimization in agriculture.
A highly accomplished innovator, he has received multiple gold medals and special awards in prestigious exhibitions such as ITEX, MTE, BioMalaysia, and international invention competitions. His innovations span diverse domains, including AI-driven agricultural systems, assistive robotics, environmental technologies, and smart sensing devices.
Dr. Erdy has an extensive publication record in Scopus-indexed journals and international conferences, contributing to advancements in machine learning, robotics, and sensor-based systems. He is also actively involved in academic supervision, mentoring, and curriculum development, particularly in mechatronics, automation, and embedded systems.
In addition to his academic and research contributions, Dr. Erdy frequently serves as a jury and chief judge for international innovation and invention competitions, demonstrating his strong commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. He is also an invited speaker at international forums, sharing insights on AI-driven smart farming and sustainable technology solutions.
He is a member of several professional bodies, including IEEE, Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), and the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT), reflecting his strong professional standing in engineering and technology.
